OLSS Clubs & Activities
Student Council
Our Student Council brings together students in grades 4–8 to foster leadership, collaboration, and service. Members meet monthly to share ideas, plan initiatives, and work together to strengthen our school community.
Athletics
Our students proudly represent the OLSS Seahawks through our basketball, track, volleyball, and cross-country teams. With athletic opportunities available throughout the school year, students can participate in sports during every season.
Symphonic Orchestra
Students in grades 2–8 have the opportunity to participate in our Symphonic Orchestra. Welcoming musicians of all skill levels, our program offers opportunities for beginner, intermediate, and advanced students to learn and perform on a variety of instruments, including strings, woodwinds, brass, and percussion.
Buddy Program
Through our Buddy Program, middle school students are paired with our youngest learners to build meaningful relationships throughout the school year. This program fosters leadership and responsibility while strengthening our sense of community.
National Junior Honor Society
Middle school students who have completed at least one semester at OLSS and meet the academic requirements are invited to apply for the National Junior Honor Society. Participating students develop leadership skills, learn the importance of service, and grow in scholarship, character, and citizenship.
