Faith Life at OLSS
Mass and Adoration
Students in grades K-8 spend time in Eucharistic Adoration in our Historic Chapel every week.
We celebrate Holy Mass as a school community every week, including First Friday Devotions. Middle School has additional times to attend Daily Mass throughout the week.
Altar Serving
Altar server training is offered throughout the school year, with experienced student altar servers serving as mentors and guides for those new to this important ministry.
“Altar serving lets me serve my school and Parish. It’s also special because I can learn and understand more about Holy Mass while I serve.”
-Toby, Lead Altar Server
Service
Throughout the school year, all students participate in service projects that provide meaningful opportunities to put Gospel values into action and serve the needs of our wider community.
Each week, a different class serves as lectors for our weekly school Mass.
