Student Support
At Our Lady Star of the Sea School, we recognize that every student brings unique gifts, strengths, and learning needs to our community. Through collaboration among families, classroom teachers, and student support staff, we seek to help each child grow in confidence, develop essential skills, and flourish academically and personally.

Our school-based resource support team is led by our Vice Principal and includes Mrs. Terri Yates, Resource Aide.
Working alongside classroom teachers and families, the team provides additional attention and support to students as needs are identified. Our approach emphasizes communication, practical strategies, and helping students succeed in the classroom.

Eligible students who reside in Calvert County may have access to additional speech and learning services through county-administered programs. Eligibility varies based on specific program requirements. Families are encouraged to contact us to discuss your student’s specific needs.
